Stage 5. Registration and getting a number plate

By this point we have also managed to get the tractor registered. It was purchased without a V5 logbook (many older tractors were not registered, or the documents and registration plates have been lost over the years). With some help from the Friends of Ferguson Heritage Club we have discovered from the serial number and engine number that this little tractor was built in the Banner Lane Works, Coventry, on Friday 18th January 1952 and was one of 259 tractors built that day. That makes this Old Girl officially a pensioner, being just over 65 years old. Hopefully we can ensure that she is around for many more years to come.
